Jewish Parenting/Kid's Play
The Jewish Federation invites you to a lively discussion of The Blessings of a Skinned Knee by Wendy Mogel. This best-selling phenomenon combines the wisdom of the Torah, the Talmud, and important Jewish teachings with contemporary psychological insights. Its lively, practical advice is particularly reassuring in these challenging times.
This wonderful book has been lauded by both Jewish and non-Jewish parents and is part of the PJ Library collection, so you may already have it on your shelf. If you'd like to get a headstart, special emphasis will be on chapters 3, 4, and 5.
Bring your children and let them play while you connect with your fellow parents to share insights and lessons from this unique book. The discussion group will be facilitated by Cheryl Gordon, who has trained with the author. Thank you to 1 Smart Noodle/Kids Play for making the space available to us at no charge.
